Threesome Teeing off Feb 3rd & 4th

by Jim Shubin on Dec.10, 2009, under Uncategorized

Let’s get straight to the point.

Exciting news. The holidays are upon us and just in time to wet our whistle Crossroads Show and ASR partnered up for 2010. The show will be across the street from ASR in February and  is going to be nutty. After the news blasted of the ‘partnership” between ASR and Crossroads I got quite a few calls and emails. People are genuinely excited to have skate back with ASR. One stop shopping as we’ll have Crossroads in the PETCO Stadium parking lot with FREE Parking for the buyers. Crossroads will remain as authentic as it has been from the beginning. In other words same vibe, contest (still open to public once contest starts), beer, burgers and your pick-up bed to saddle up on if you prefer. All spaces are 10′ wide by 20 or so deep so if needed you can park your car behind your pop-up. The best trick contest will be organized by SPoT. did you hear that?

If you don’t believe me, just ask me. If you still don’t believe me and lets say I happened to to you before then go walk it. get your business done and if you are worried about getting back to ASR you can hop on a tram or simply walk across the street and you’ll be at ASR. Easy enough. If you want to find CLASS@ASR then head up the escalator above ASR.

Hey as for price on Crossroads. its still the same price it’s always been. As for retail presence. Crossroads are bringing out 100 VIP Skate retailers in addition to the VIP ASR and CLASS@ASR program of 200. Ad this to the 4500 retailers and you are about to get some business done. So make appointments. I keep telling people tradeshows are not about walk up business. get organized and get in touch with your retailers.

I’ve heard from brands, buyers, and distributors from around the globe pumped that they’ll have the chance to be in one market-place to get their business done.  you can do your business and watch the contest, throw a high-five and come across the street to pre-book some Fall 2010. Let’s have some fun and kick start 2010 with a banger called “ASR Access” yaaaaaaaaaa

Dates February 3rd & 4th.
For Crossroads booth space call Jeff Dickson 760.585.6409 or email jeff@crossroads-show.com

Also come tomorrow night to the Group Y “Inside the La Jolla Group” panel discussion. I will be moderately “moderating” with Ryans, MT, Ward and others. Should be fun. info: Group Y Dec 1oth

September's Crossroads Show added some silliness to the best trick.

Easiest show setup. Park the car, set up your pop-up tent and get to business. For those of you who have done Crossroads know that this is the deal.

Random Pic- The guy on the left is Ralph Schaefer. I was in Cologne Germany and went to visit his store called Made In. His accent is soooo heavy other Germans tell me they can't understand him. I've worked with him since I was at Drawls and always taped his messages he leaves for me and play them to people. He owns Cologne. so go visit him or at least call his store for a proper chat. You may not understand a word he's saying but ask what's hot and what's not and he'll increase your stores value. Again that is IF you can understand him. either way you can bet your ass you'll agree with me. Love you RALPH>
